By playing Cratefall Arena you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not play.
1 · The game
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to play Cratefall Arena for your own entertainment. The game, its code, art and name remain ours.
The game is provided free of charge. We may change, suspend or discontinue any part of it — including modes, items and the in-game economy — at any time.
2 · Your account
- You may sign in with Google, or play anonymously.
- You are responsible for activity on your account. If you think it has been compromised, use sign out everywhere on the join screen and contact us.
- Playing anonymously means your progress is tied to your browser. Clearing your browser data loses it, and we cannot recover it. If you want your items to survive, sign in.
- One person, one account. Running several accounts to feed kills, items or currency to another is not allowed.
- You must be at least 13 years old.
3 · Fair play
You agree not to:
- use bots, aim assistance, modified clients or any automation;
- exploit bugs rather than reporting them — especially anything affecting items or currency;
- attack, overload or attempt to gain unauthorised access to the servers;
- harass other players, or choose a name that is abusive, hateful or impersonates someone else.
We measure gameplay statistics to detect automation. Accounts we believe are cheating may lose items or currency, or be closed, at our discretion.
4 · Virtual items and currency
Crate Coins and cosmetic items have no real-world value. They are a limited licence to use them inside the game — you do not own them as property, they cannot be exchanged for money, and they have no value outside Cratefall Arena.
- Currency is credited to your account once payment clears. Purchases are final and non-refundable once currency is credited, except where refunds are required by law.
- Items obtained from crates are awarded at random, at the odds published in the shop. Those odds are the same ones the server uses.
- We may add, remove, retire or rebalance items at any time.
- If your account is closed for breaching these terms, any currency and items on it are forfeited.
- Currency does not expire while your account is active.
5 · The player marketplace
The Black Market lets players list cosmetic items for Crate Coins. It is between players; we provide the mechanism only.
- Listing an item removes it from your locker immediately — including items earned by playing. If it sells, it is gone, and an earned item must be earned again.
- The buyer pays a 10% fee on top of the asking price. That fee is destroyed, not paid to anyone.
- Sales are final. We do not reverse trades because you changed your mind or mispriced something.
- Trading items or currency for real money outside the game is not allowed, and we will not help you recover anything lost doing it.
6 · Advertisements
You may optionally watch an advertisement to recover part of your experience after dying. Watching is always your choice, and declining costs you nothing but the experience itself.
7 · Availability
The game is provided “as is”. We do not promise it will be available, uninterrupted, or free of bugs, and we may take it offline for maintenance or permanently. Progress and items may be lost as a result of technical failure. We keep backups but do not guarantee recovery.
8 · Liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for lost progress, items or currency. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the past twelve months, or USD 50.
Nothing here limits liability for fraud, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or anything else that cannot lawfully be limited. If you are a consumer, you keep your statutory rights.
9 · Ending it
You can stop playing at any time, and ask us to delete your account. We may suspend or close an account that breaches these terms, or where required by law.
10 · Changes
We may update these terms. The date at the top will change, and significant changes will be noted on the join screen. Continuing to play means accepting the new version.
